Phyllis Lukich, 75 widow of George Peter Lukich, died Thursday February 16, 2017 in The White Oak Manor, Charleston.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, February 24, 2017 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 1600 Ebenezer Road, Bowman, SC 29018 with Pastors Harry Scarborough, Michael McMinn and Reverend Michael Written officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service.
Phyllis was born March 4, 1941 in Charleston a daughter of the late Francis Lamar and Molly Mizell Harris. She was a former waitress, bartender and lounge manager at the Airport Sheraton Hotel in Charleston. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Goose Creek. She was predeceased by a son, Charles Edward Fleck, grandson, Donald E. Hammer, III and siblings James Allen Knox, Virginia Veccharelli and Molly Aycock.
Surviving are sons, Donald Eugene (Cherrie) Hammer, Jr., Summerville and William Joseph Fleck, Charleston; a daughter, Cindy Lee Fleck, Summerville; a brother, Francis Lamar (Barbara) Harris, Jr., Goose Creek; sisters, Ann (Jerry) Whetsell, Bowman, Carolyn Faye (Jim) Herndon, Summerville and Frankie Elaine Payton, Rockford, Illinois; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to New Life Baptist Church, 111 Old Moncks Corner Road, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
