Richard "Bubsie" W. Kizer

Richard W. “Bubsie” Kizer, 76, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvin Bell and Rev. Bob Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Bryant Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before the service at Bryant Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Hunter Mizzell, Chevis Pendarvis, Cody Smith, Phil Dukes, Dennis Mizzell, Freddie Jacques and Lyn Knight.

Bubsie was born on August 25, 1941 in Bowman, a son of the late Jacob Richard and Frances Zelma Hinkle Kizer.  He was a carpenter and a member of the Duncan Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his sisters, Sylvia Kizer and Pamela (Lynn) Westbury; a nephew, Benny Westbury and his best friend, Charles Mizzell.
