William "Billy" T. Reeves

William T. “Billy” Reeves, 91, of St. George, husband of Sandra “Sandy” Reeves, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 12, 2023, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Mims officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Kent Reeves, Ricky Reeves, Hank Hutto Thomas Bellamy, Charles Cross and Harrison Scott.  Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00-6:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.

Billy was born on May 1, 1932 in St. George, a son of the late Delbert Howell and Juliaette Crook Reeves.  He was a retired farmer and part owner of Reeves Spreader Service.  He was a lifetime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, St. George Jaycees and an avid Clemson Tiger fan.

Surviving is his wife, Sandra “Sandy” Rotert Reeves, St. George; a daughter, Scarlet Reeves, N. Charleston; a brother, Hansford Howell “Hank” Reeves; sister-in-law, Patricia Reeves; nephews, Kent (Lisa) Reeves, Ricky (Donna) Reeves and a niece, Tami (Bryan) Hutto; step-daughters, Karla (Larry) Bellamy, Tina Cross and Betsy Matthews; 5 great nieces and 2 great nephews; 8 step grandchildren and 8 step, great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Reeves, a brother, Farrell O’Keith “Fuzzy” Reeves and stepdaughter, Cassie Lewis.
