William Shelley Obituary

William Charles Shelley, 66, husband of Yvonne Halfacre Shelley, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Colleton Medical Center.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 19, 2020 at his residence, 1891 Highway 15 South, St. George, SC 29477.

William was born on July 18, 1954 in Walterboro, a son of the late Luther Bryant and Mary Ellen Shieder Shelley. He was a member of Grover United Methodist Church and worked in the Maintenance department with Dorchester County. He was predeceased by his daughter, Elizabeth Marie Shelley.

Surviving is his wife, Yvonne H. Shelley; daughters, Letitia (Anthony David) Padgett and Alexis McCorkle; sons, Chris (Kieosha) McCorkle and BJ McCorkle; grandchildren, Destin, Mary Grace and Anthony Padgett, Aubrey Gibbs, Rayonna, Roman and Riley McCorkle; a brother, Allen (Genny) Shelley; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
