Wilbur Judson “Jack” Stroble, 98, of St. George, husband of Minnie R. Stroble, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 10, 2022, at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 13, 2022, at Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Dawjr Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the St. George Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lee Stroble, Brad Stroble, Marc Stroble, Kyle Stroble, Dale Waggoner and Bryan Waggoner. Visitation will be an hour before the service.
Jack was born on September 30, 1923, in Charleston, a son of the late John Curtis and Viola Canaday Stroble. He was retired from Giant Portland Cement Company after 40 years of service as a mechanic. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and Union 216. He was pre-deceased by brothers; John Curtis Stroble, Ingram Stroble, George C. Stroble, Sr., and sisters, Evelyn Stroble, Ardell S. Cales and Leola S. Jones.
Surviving is his loving wife of 74 years, Minnie Risher Stroble, St. George; two sons, Gary Judson (Christine) Stroble, Walterboro and Carlos Lee (Patsy) Stroble, St. Stephens; grandchildren, Marc Judson (Lisa) Stroble, Jacksonville, Kyle Evans (Elizabeth) Stroble, Walterboro, Carlos Lee Stroble, II, St. George and Bradford Manning (Tara) Stroble, Daniel Island; great-grandchildren, Tyler Jackson Stroble, Colin Tanner Stroble, Evan Michael Stroble, Emily Nicole Stroble, Aiden Matthew Stroble, Kaitlin Ashley Stroble, Meagan Lee Stroble, Langley Kate Stroble and Julia Rentz Stroble.
