Thomas "Tommy" Raymond Felder

Thomas (Tommy) Raymond Felder, husband of Susan C. Felder, entered eternal rest on November 7, 2020.  Tommy passed away peacefully at the CM Tucker Facility in Columbia where he was a resident since February 2020.  Tommy succumbed to a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.  Prior to moving to the Columbia/Lexington area Tommy was a resident of Reevesville, SC until 2018.

Due to COVID-19, the family is having a Private Graveside Service that will be held at the Rigby Cemetery.

Tommy was born on September 22, 1943 in Reevesville.  He was the son of the Raymond Lee Felder and Ada Irene Hutto Felder.

He was a retired Staff Sargent from the S.C.  Army National Guard, a member of Reevesville Baptist Church, and a member of Harmony Lodge #61.  Prior to working for the S.C. Army National Guard, Tommy owned a Gulf Service Station business in Reevesville, SC for approximately 20 years and was known in the community for his generosity and sense of humor.  He was liked by all and never met a stranger. 

Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Susan C. Felder, (formerly of Reevesville; a son, Steven Felder, Saint George, a daughter, Tracy (Ray) Hill,  Gilbert, SC; grandchildren; Stephanie Felder Hebert (Teddy), Round O, Haley Felder, Walterboro, and Lauren Hill, Gilbert, SC; Sisters, Virginia F. Ott, Branchville, Rita F. (Jim) Little, Dorchester, and Patti F. (Sonny) Hart, St. George.
