Sylvia Kizer

Sylvia Kizer, 85, of Bowman, SC entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2023, at Magnolias of Santee. 

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at the Duncan Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Robert Lee officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery and other times at the home of Benny and Lisa Westbury, 315 Behling Street, St. George. 

Sylvia was born June 13, 1937 in the Duncan Chapel Community, a daughter of the late Jacob Richard Kizer and Frances Zelma Hinkle Kizer.  She was a graduate of St. George High School and briefly worked with the State of South Carolina Department of Transportation.  She was then employed by DW Gavin Motor Company, Jim Bilton Ford and Family Ford for over 50 years.  She was a lifelong member of Duncan Chapel United Methodist Church.  She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Richard Wayne Kizer.

Surviving is her sister, Pamela (Lynn) Westbury and her nephew, Benny (Lisa) Westbury. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Magnolias of Santee for the loving care provided to Sylvia in the last few years.
