Obituary

Soraya A. Johnston, of Reevesville, wife of Roger “Tim” Johnston, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Bryant Funeral Home with Ricky Bouchette officiating.

Soraya was born on November 23, 1955 in Germany, a daughter of Thomas L. Schinskey, Sr. and Frida Marie Schinskey. She was a homemaker.

Surviving is her husband, Roger “Tim” Johnston, Sr., Reevesville; a son, Roger T. Johnston, Jr. (Karen), St. George; a daughter, Angela Johnston, Reevesville; a brother, Thomas L. Schinskey; grandchildren, Savannah Johston, Summer Johnston, Matthew Johnston, Courtney Johnston and Faith Johnston; great-grandchildren, Amir James, Leah’Vonnie James, Royce James and Hazel Johnston.

Memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
