Sheryl "Boogie" Murray Westbury

Sheryl “Boogie” Murray Westbury, 69, of Harleyville, wife of Daniel H. “Danny” Westbury, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family after a battle with breast cancer. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Harleyville Southern Methodist Church with the Reverends Reggie Thomas, Haskell Parler and John Hucks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clint Westbury, Andrew Taylor, Bruce Blanchard, Harley Herndon, Jeffy Westbury, Heath Westbury. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the church. Boogie was born on February 20, 1949, in Harleyville, a daughter of the late Charles Heaton Murray and Thelma Tant Murray Williams. She was a charter member of Harleyville Southern Methodist Church and retired from Key West Boats. She was predeceased by her step father, Gene Williams. Surviving is her husband, Daniel Howard “Danny” Westbury, Sr.; a son, Daniel Howard (Laura) Westbury, Jr.; daughters, Amy (Richard) Rickenbacker, Mae (Michael) Taylor; grandchildren, Clint Westbury, Christina Rickenbacker, Andrew Taylor and Abigail Westbury; great grandchild, Aiden Bauerle; and, sisters, Brenda Griffin and Debra (Julius) Wimberly.
