Lavern Williamson Obituary

Lavern Ilderton Williamson, 79, of St. George, wife of Fred Williamson, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 24, 2021 at her residence.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday in the Summerville Cemetery, 642 Boonehill Road, Summerville with the Rev. Dawjr Wood officiating.  Pallbearers will be Justin Goethe, Grande Fender, Bryan Eadon, Thomas McAlhany, Tripp Mobley, Matt Mobley.  Visitation will be an hour before the service.

Lavern was born on March 18, 1942, in Summerville, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Ilderton and Lillian Drose Ilderton.  Lavern was a housewife and dedicated Mom and Granny. She lived a blessed life, loving and being loved deeply by her family. She loved to sit on the porch with Fred, reminisce, and just enjoy the life they built together. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and always wanted to make sure they were taken care of. They knew they could count on their Mom/Granny for all the big things in life, but also the small things that meant so much more. She was preceded in death by Parents, Siblings Ion Ilderton, Bobby Ilderton, Dorothy Seigler, Awilda Nettles, Vincent Ilderton, Great-Grandson Porter McAlhany.

Surviving is her husband of 62 ½ years, Fred Williamson; children, Pam Jamison, Elton (Louann) Williamson, Penny (Blaine) Fender; grandchildren, Justin (Austin) Goethe, Lauren (Sean) Merritt, Katie (Bryan) Eadon, Bailey (Thomas) McAlhany, Grande (Chelsea) Fender, Madelyn Fender, Tripp (Amanda) Mobley, Matt (Heather) Mobley; Great-Grandchildren, Tallulah and Weathers Goethe, Hunter and Grace Merritt, Davyn, Millie, and Hyott Eadon, Lillian and Camilla McAlhany, Leareece and Adalynn Mobley, Xavier and Makayla Behrman, Oaklynn and Kobe Mobley, Kayden Siner and Emma Styron; siblings, Harriette Rice, Shirley Plexico, Skottowe (Nena) Ilderton, Allen (Deana) Ilderton, Mark (Sharon) Ilderton.
