Kenneth David “Kenny” Pendarvis, 68, of St. George, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 29, 2022.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at St. George Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Etheridge officiating.
Kenny was born on October 31, 1953, in Orangeburg, a son of the late Kenneth Edward Pendarvis and Martha Ann Wimberly McAlhany. He was a graduate of St. George High School and attended Clemson University. He was a floral designer, worked in law enforcement with Dorchester County, owner of St. George Antiques and was a freelance writer. He enjoyed fishing the Edisto River with his grandmother, Louise Durr Wimberly. He never met a dog he didn’t like, or love and he was predeceased by his beloved Atta Boy. Kenny liked reading, writing, gardening, fishing and studying the Holy Bible. He was predeceased by his step-father, John Allen McAlhany.
Surviving is his sister, Lanee (Ronnie) Summers, Bowman; niece, Ashley (Adam) Murray, Branchville; nephew, Cullen Summers, Statesboro, GA; grand nieces, Anaston and Ava Murray; aunt, Mildred (Gene) Kizer, Orangeburg; special dog, Ozzie; and many Pendarvis cousins and friends he loved visiting and calling.
