Edward L. Easterlin, 86, widower of Gloria Elaine Easterlin, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the Veterans Victory House in Walterboro, SC.
Funeral Services will be held 11 am Wednesday March 6, 2024, Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Pastor Mary Everhart officiating. A burial with Military Rites will follow in the Church Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Will Easterlin, Martin Connelly, Andrew Jordan, Chad Corbett, Randy Stone, and Monty Metts. The visitation will be one hour before service in the Denny West Memorial Hall.
Honorary pallbearers will be any former employees of Greenwood Mills.
Edward was born on October 27, 1937, to a son of the late Irvine Lewis Easterlin and Mattie Lou Riley Easterlin. He was adopted and raised by John Edward and Talula Bell Riley Easterlin. He was a graduate of Bowman High School and attended Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College. Edward retired as a supervisor for Greenwood Mills and retired as shift supervisor. He served in the United States Air Force stationed in Tokyo, Japan. He was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Bowman Masonic Lodge # 290. He is predeceased by siblings; Irvin Lewis Easterlin and Dorothy E. Weathers.
Surviving are a son George Edward “Gee” Easterlin, Eutawville; a daughter Vicki E. Connelly and her husband Marty, Bowman; four grandchildren Will (Jenna) Easterlin, Kayla (Andrew) Jordan, Bowman, Rachel Connelly, Davidson, NC and Martin (Chelsea) Connelly, Branchville; 6 great-grandchildren, Bryce and Reed Easterlin; Khloe and Kallie Jordan; Emersyn and Case Connelly
A brother, William Riley Easterlin, North Charleston; 2 sisters; Hazel Ann Metts and Marian Talula Stone, both of Orangeburg; brother-in-law, Glenn H. Weathers and sister-in-law, Carolyn W. Mizzell. A number of nieces and nephews.

Note: Ebenezer Road off SC Highway 210 is closed use Wamer Road off of Hwy 210 or Two Church Road off of US Highway 178, east of Bowman.
