Corey Lee Legette

Corey Lee Legette, husband of Shaina R. Legette died Friday June 19, 2020 of injuries sustained in an auto - truck collision which occurred on Highway 15 North, Harleyville, SC.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Live Oak Memorial Gardens on Highway 61, Charleston, SC with the Deacon Jimmy Horne officiating.  Pallbearers will be Darrell Mims, Derrick Riley, Justin Legette, Keith Legette, Maria Chaplin, Jason Canaday and Johnny Canaday.

Corey was born in Charleston on February 15, 1995, a son of Michael Edward Powell, Jr. and Tammie Lee Legette.  He attended North Charleston public schools and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  He was an oysterman with Harvest Moon Seafood and a certified Pest Control technician.

Surviving is his wife, Shaina Roberts Legette; sons, Corey Lee Legette, Jr. and Cameron Lance Legette; twin daughters, Karlee Lynn Legette and Kaylee Michelle Legette; mother, Tammie Lee Legette Campbell and his step-father, Doraz Lamar Campbell; father, Michael Edward Powell, Jr.; a brother, Tyler Garvin; sisters, Tiffany Walters and Stephanie Walters Brownlee; grandmothers, Margaret Droze Legette and Julie Powell; aunt, Sherry Deanna Legette and uncle DeWaine Clark, Jr.; grandparents, Wayne and Linda Walters; father-in-law, Timothy Walters; and many cousins.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
