Carl S. Utsey, Jr., 82, of Grover, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Summerville Community Hospice House.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Utsey Cemetery with the Reverend Kevin Hinton officiating.

Carl was born on July 9, 1939, in Grover a son of Carl S. Utsey and Lillie Mae W. Utsey. He was a retired electrician and served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of Grover United Methodist Church. He was predeceased by a sister, Ann Utsey McClure.

Surviving is a daughter, Janet (Richard) DuBois of Summerville; two granddaughters, Michele (Michael) Sanderson and Krista DuBois; a sister, Sandra Utsey (Larry) Strickland of Grover; two nieces, Cindy (Barry) Soard, St. George and Sandi (Terry) Evans of Walterboro.

Memorials may be made to Grover United Methodist Church, 1871 Highway 15 South, St. George, SC 29477.
