Beverly Byars Stroble

Beverly Byars Stroble, 67, widow of George Carpenter Stroble, of St. George, entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2021 at Trident Medical Center.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Indian Field United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Robert Reeves officiating.  Visitation will be an hour before the service. 

Beverly was born on April 21, 1953, in Summerville, a daughter of the late Julius Raymond and Lillie Crawford Byars.  She was a graduate of Harleyville Ridgeville High School, worked at Carolina Girls Wear, custodian at Dorchester Academy and retired Dorchester County maintenance department.  She was a member of Indian Field United Methodist Church where she served in the Young Ladies Society and Good Will Sunday School class and a member of Woodmen of the World. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her four-legged babies.  Bev was always eager to help others in her community when she saw a need.

Surviving is her brother, Clifford E. (Jackie Rheuark) Byars; a special friend, Mike Cole; a niece, Sandi (Richard) Byars Wimberly; nephew, Craig Byars; great nieces, Alli Wimberly, Sara Wimberly and Madison Byars; great-nephew, Chase Byars; stepchildren, George C. (Ellen) Stroble, Lynn (Andy) Connor, Linda (Ricky) Rhode and Alice (Dale) Messick; step-grandchildren, Kevin Stroble, Timothy Jackson, Natalie (Paul) Garrett, Vince (Jamie) Connor, Marshall (Kelly) Connor, Melissa (Dereck) Bates, Shawn Messick, Ken (Kandi) Messick; step great-grandchildren, Bailey and Sydney Garrett, Katherine, Madeline, Bryson, Cameron and Finn Connor, Kinsey, Gage and Gavin Bates, Collier and Amber Messick, Dylan Chapman, Ella and Annika Messick.
