Betty Mizell Obituary

Betty Jean Rudd Mizell, 80, of Harleyville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 25, 2018.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Harleyville Southern Methodist Church with the Rev. Reggie Thomas and Haskell Parler officiating. Visitation will be an hour before the service.

Betty was born on June 2, 1937, in Dorchester County, a daughter of the late Clemmie and Annie Lee Mallard Rudd. She was a homemaker, loved auctions, and good gospel and old country music. She will be truly missed by a lot of people. She was predeceased by siblings, Robbie Rudd, Sidney Rudd, John Henry Rudd and Marion Rudd.

Surviving are her sons, Robert L. (Nancy) Mizell, Sr. and Johnny L. (Judy) Mizell; grandchildren, Crystal (Ricky) Owens, Travis (Bridget) Mizell, Robbie (Nikki) Mizell, Amanda (James) Phillips, Buddy Floyd; great-grandchildren, Carson Owens, Tyler Owens, Emmerson Owens, Levi Mizell, Macy Mizell, Corbin Mizell, Caroline Mizell, Jeannie Turer, Bailey Wilson and Dustin Wilson; sisters, Mellie Mae Infinger and Arlene (Doug) Infinger; and a number of nieces and nephews.
