William Everett “Bill” Mushrush, 75, of Dorchester, husband of Cheryl B. Mushrush, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 27, 2017.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Ronnie Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Freddie Bishop, Justin Mushrush, Logan Ezzell, John Lucas, Terry Thrower and Robert Sageser. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.
Bill was born on September 22, 1942 in Des Arc, Arkansas, a son of the late Lawrence Everett and Ouida E. Swann Mushrush. He served in the US Navy during Vietnam, attended Palmer College in Charleston, and was a retired civil service employee. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church where he was a lay speaker. He was predeceased by a grandson, Ethan Sweat.
Surviving is his wife, Cheryl Bishop Mushrush; two daughters, Laura (John) Ezzell, all of Dorchester and Jane (John) Sageser, Fort Mill; two brothers, Eldon (Margaret) Mushrush, Alma, Arkansas and James Allen (Tamela) Mushrush, Hurricane, West Virginia; a sister, Helen Whitkanack, Clarksville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Justin Mushrush, Nathan Sageser, Evan Sageser, Logan Ezzell and Justin Ezzell.
