Wauchula Fender Hartzog, 94, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 03, 2018 at the Agape Hospice House of Lexington.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 6, 2017 at Indian Field United Methodist Church with the Reverend John Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Williams, III, Roger Hanna, Tommie Fender and Trey Fender. Visitation will be an hour before the service.
Wauchula was born on March 21, 1924 in Andrews, Florida, a daughter of the late Harvey Daniel and Perry Lee Turner Campbell. She was a graduate of St. George High School, worked at the Navy Yard office, Southern Bell Telephone Operator, a Cosmetologist, Secretary to the Superintendent of Education for Dorchester County and retired from the Dorchester County Tax Collector’s office. She was a member of Indian Field United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening. She was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Infinger. She was the widow of Willie Durell Fender, Sr., Richard N. “Dick” Murray and Lloyd Hartzog.
Surviving is her son, Billy (Deborah) Fender; a daughter, Wanda (Joe) Williams, all of Lexington; grandchildren, Joe (Carrie) Williams, III, Traci (Roger) Hanna, Tommie Fender and Trey (Sarah) Fender; and nine great-grandchildren.
