Thadus G. Whetsell

Thadus G. Whetsell, of Bowman, 80, husband of Ann H. Whetsell, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 26, 2019.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 29, 2019 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3:00-6:00 PM at the home.

Jerry was born on November 5, 1938 in Bowman, SC a son of the late J. Carlyle Whetsell and Alice Cooper Weathers Whetsell.  He was a loving and devoted husband for 32 years to Ann.  He loved and always enjoyed seeing his stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, was a retired farmer and loved attending to his garden.  He served in the US Army, National Guard and a Mason. 

Surviving is his wife, Ann H. Whetsell; a brother, Joe Whetsell; step-children, Velma Johnson, George (Ingram) White, Guy (Cheryl) White, James White, Sharon Evans, Mark White, Stacy (Mary) White, Debbie (Steve) Grillo, Mandy (Mark) Williams, Terry (Jim) Parkison and Welsey (Laura) Jordan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Memorials may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Cemetery Fund, Stacy Weathers, 1877 Duncan Chapel Road, Bowman, SC 29018.
