Robert Legare Reeves

Robert Legare Reeves, 85, of St. George, husband of Patricia Reeves, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 07, 2017 at Roper Hospital. 

Funeral Services will be held on 11:00 AM Saturday at Old St. George Baptist Church with the Reverend Kevin Hinton officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Sky Burley, Jorge Argueta, Clint Gruber, Dustin Brown, Scott Creel and Eric Creel.  Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.

Robert was born on August 26, 1932 in St. George, a son of the late Legare and Sadie Patrick Reeves.  He was a graduate of St. George High School, an Army veteran, worked for Hygrade Meat Packing, GE Ladson and retired from Dorchester County.  He was a member of Old St. George Baptist Church, had a passion for gardening and was known for his collard patches.  He was predeceased by brothers, Marion Lewis Reeves and Jimmy Reeves. 

Surviving is his wife, Patricia Reeves; three daughters, Donna (James) Creel, all of St. George, Teresa (Ray) Brown, Holly Hill and Robin (Billy) Herman, Albany, GA; grandchildren, Audrey (Clint) Gruber, Angela (Jorge) Argueta, Melanie (Sky) Burley, Dustin Brown, Scott (Ashley) Creel and Eric Creel; great-grandchildren, Lane Gruber, Coy Gruber, Marianne Gruber, Pace Gruber, Haley Burley, Carson Burley, Rachael Argueta, Emily Argueta and Jessica Argueta.
