Margie Wagers Creel, 84, of St. George, wife of Earl Lewis Creel, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her residence.
Graveside Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 27, 2018, at the Murray Cemetery with the Reverends Duane Woolsey, Ralph Warren and Joe Marchant officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 P.M. Sunday August 26, 2018 at the home, 2830 Wire Road, St. George.
Margie was born on July 22, 1934, in Rosinville, a daughter of the late Dibble Pinckney and Blanche Campbell Wagers. She was a License Practical Nurse and a member of the St. Matthews Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, president of the Women’s Missionary group. She was predeceased by a brother, Bland P. Wagers.
Surviving is her loving husband of 65 years, Earl Lewis Creel, Sr. a son, E. Lewis (Michele) Creel, Jr., Seneca ; a daughter, Linda Creel Jordan, North Charleston; grandchildren, Thomas (Paige) Jordan, Rebecca (Kendall) Hill, Andrew Jordan, Elizabeth Creel; great-grandchildren, Murray Taylor, Emma Grace and Lucy Hill; a brother, Sapp (Judith) Wagers, sisters; Helen W. Walters, Eunice W. Shieder, Sylvia (Jimmy) Horne, Ann W. Hartzog, and Jean (C.F.) Judy.
