Mack Carroll O’Quinn, 81, husband of Delane Walters O’Quinn, of St. George, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 1, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Old St. George Baptist Church with the Reverend Kevin Hinton and Pastor Howard Proveaux officiating. Burial will follow in the Heaton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Franklin Infinger, Richie Stroble, Delbert Hartzog, Mike O’Quinn, Bryan O’Quinn and Hank Stroble. Visitation will be an hour before the service.
Mack was born on September 26, 1937, in Walterboro, a son of the late Hal and Katheryn Heape O’Quinn. He was a retired mechanic with the School Bus shop and a member of Sheldon Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his first wife, Betty Nettles O’Quinn, a daughter, Debbie O’Quinn, and a sister, Francis O’Quinn.
Surviving is his wife, Delane Walters O’Quinn; sons, Mack C. (Lisa) O’Quinn, Jr., Ladson, Bill (Betty) O’Quinn, Spokane, Washington, Ricky (Wanda) O’Quinn, Harleyville; a daughter, Pauline “Sissy” O’Quinn (Larry) Brown, Walterboro; step-sons, Bucky (Delta) Stroble, Shane Stroble and Tye (Paula) Stroble; a brother, Lucas (Rogernell) O’Quinn, Walterboro; sisters, Shirley (Guy) Lee and Pauline (Ed) Kolaskz; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
