MSGT Thaddius Bryant Dukes, USAF Ret., 71, of St. George, husband of Kay R. Dukes, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 12, 2018 at his residence.

A Graveside service with full Honors by United States Air Force will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Beaufort National Cemetery

Thad was born on May 1, 1947, in Reevesville, SC, a son of the late Thomas Bryant and Elizabeth Berry Dukes. He was a graduate of St. George High School. He joined the US Air Force in 1967 serving in Vietnam War and the Gulf War for 26 yearsof service.

Surviving is his wife, Kay Ruth Dukes; two sons, Thaddius B. “Bryan” (Anjela) Dukes, Jr., Raleigh, NC and Robert Edward Dukes, St. George, SC; brothers, Martin (Francis) Dukes, North Charleston, Fred (Dorothy) Dukes, Dorchester and Kit (Crystye) Dukes, St. George; sisters, Evelyn Rollins, Summerville, and Peggy (H.L.) Proctor, Cope; special friends, Antonio Daniels and Richard Gascon.
