Leon "Shank" Jamison Herndon, Sr.

Leon Jamison "Shank" Herndon, Sr., 76, of Reevesville, SC entered into eternal rest Friday, April 12, 2019 at Trident Medical Center. 

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 15, 2019 with the Reverend Bob Frederick officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bryant-Reeves Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Andy Weathers, Keith Patrick, Ronald Judy, Jackie Judy, Henry Chavis and Ryan Diehl.  Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.

Leon "Shank" was born April 9, 1943, in Reevesville, a son of the late Marie Walker.  He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

Surviving is his son, Jamie (Renee') Herndon, Reevesville, a daughter, Michelle (Scott) Kizer, St. George; grandchildren Eddie (Danielle) Herndon, Jacob Herndon, Austin Kizer, and Layne Kizer; a brother, Jim (Robin) Walker; and special friends, Mary Herndon and June Williams along with many others.
