John Cicero Walters, of St. George, widower of Betty Joann Walters, entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2018.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Indian Field United Methodist Church with the Reverend John Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Peters, Caleb Peters, Dustin Walters, Slade Walters, Timmy Peters, and Timothy Peters. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home.
Cicero was born on September 16, 1933, in Reevesville, a son of the late, John Sharriek and Susie Victoria Connelly Walters. He was a Machinist with Shop 31 at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and a member of the Indian Field United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was predeceased by a son, John Mark Walters.
Surviving is his son, Christopher David (Tracey) Walters, Bowman; a daughter, Tammy (James) Fralix, St. George; grandchildren, Jonathan Dustin (Tara) Walters, Eric James Fralix, Slade Christopher Walters, Haven Nicole Walters; and a great-grandchild, Isabella Lyn Walters.
