Henry Glenn McAlhany

Henry Glenn McAlhany, 82, of Reevesville, husband of Inez Connelley McAlhany, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at The Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg.

A Memorial Service will be held 2 P.M. Friday September 28, 2018 at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Fredrick. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. 

Glenn was born September 30, 1935, in Reevesville, a son of the late James Wilburn and Alma Weeks McAlhany.  He was a retired truck driver with Infinger Lumber Company and Reeves Brothers Farm.  He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church where he was a Deacon, Treasurer of the Men’s Sunday School Class and a trustee.  He was predeceased by siblings, Jack McAlhany, Erlene Thornell, Julia Mae McAlhany, Janette Bailey and Inell Dukes.

Surviving is his wife, Inez C. McAlhany; sons, Wayne Glenn (Cheryl Jones) McAlhany, Orangeburg, Jeffrey Lee (Heather) McAlhany, Cordova, and Scotty Lynn (Sonja) McAlhany, Harleyville; daughters, Rhonda Ann Parrott, Charleston and Janice Marie (Robert) Aikins, Summerville; grandchildren, Chris (Jade) McAlhany, Ameia Proveaux, Brandon (Ashley) Summers, Tiffany (Randy) Elliott, Taylor Aikins, Grayson Aikins, Cory (Haley) McAlhany, Lex Ann McAlhany, Taylor Stringfellow, Logan McAlhany and Lauren (Patrick) Harlow; great-grandchildren, Mason, Charlee, Hunter, Wyatt, Walker, Bransley, Jensen, Arianna, Shellie, Landon, Maddie, Logan, Presley, Addison, and Aubrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beulah Baptist Church, 5502 Wire Road, Branchville, SC 29432.
