Delane Walters O’Quinn, widow of Mack Carroll O’Quinn, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Old St. George Baptist Church with the Reverend James Way officiating. Burial will follow in the Heaton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Walters, Michael Jackson, Richard Dubois, Timothy Stroble, Mario Chavez and David Walters. Visitation will be an hour before the service at the church.
Delane was born on October 11, 1945, in St. George, a daughter of the late Willie Virgil and Lorene Connelly Walters. She was a graduate of St. George High School, a hair dresser and a member of Old St. George Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Bucky (Delta) Stroble, Shane Stroble and Tye (Paula) Stroble; grandchildren, Richie (Nicole) Stroble, Kayla (Kyle) Colson, Kaitlyn Heinze, Cheyenne Stroble, Timothy Stroble and Ocean McLaurin; great-grandchildren, Kylee Colson and Faith Stroble; step-children, Mack C. (Lisa) O’Quinn, Jr., Bill (Betty) O’Quinn, Ricky (Wanda) O’Quinn and Pauline “Sissy” O’Quinn (Larry) Brown; brothers, Terry (Gloria) Walters and Dean “T Boy” (Kathy) Walters; sisters, Annette Utsey, Helen Thompson, and, Jennifer W. (Jimmy) Mizell; and, 9 step-grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank her special caregiver, Irene Ross.
