Charlotte Spell Lusk

Charlotte Spell Lusk, 91 widow of James “Jim” Lusk entered in to eternal rest on Sunday December 3, 2017 at Johns Island Health and Rehab Center.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 7, 2017 in the Utsey Cemetery with Reverend Shannon Bullion officiating.

Charlotte was born on August 17, 1926, in St. George, a daughter of the late Charles Asbury and Rosalie Dantzler Utsey Spell.  She attended St. George High School and was a graduate of Murray Vocational School.  She was a secretary with the SC Employment Commission and a member of the Grover United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Donnarae Lusk; siblings, Lorena Spell Likes, Miriam Spell Berry, and Henry Allen Spell. 

Surviving is her son, Richard Lusk, Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Jonathan R. Lusk, Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Anna E. Holland, Mt. Pleasant; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Reece and Henley Holland; sister, Merilyn Spell Lockwood; nieces and nephews, Myrl B. Kluge, Peggy Berry Fisk and Michael Likes.
