Charles "Charlie" Daniel Postell, Sr

Charles Daniel “Charlie” Postell, Sr., 74, of St. George, husband of Lois S. Postell, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.

Graveside Funeral Services with Masonic Rites will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 12, 2018 at the St. George Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Etheridge and Rev. Dr. Theron Smith officiating.  Entombment will follow.  Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.

Charles was born on November 9, 1943 in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Richard Albert and Vinis Sophia Weathers Postell.  He was a graduate of St. George High School and a retired from Dorchester County Treatment operator with the Dorchester County Public Works.  He was a member of the St. George United Methodist Church, the Harmony Lodge #61 AFM and served in the Army National Guard.

Surviving is his wife, Lois Sandel Postell; a son, Charles Daniel “Danny” (Stephanie) Postell, Jr.; grandchildren, Charles Daniel Postell, III and CheyAnne Danelle Postell; and, a brother, Richard Albert (Nancy) Postell, all of St. George.
