Barbara Sweatman Sundgren

Barbara Delaine Sweatman Sundgren, 75 of St. George entered into eternal rest on Tuesday March 5, 2019 at St. George Health Care Center.

Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2019 at Utsey Cemetery, Grover. The family will receive friends at the cemetery before and after service.

Barbara was born March 7, 1943 in St. George a daughter of the late Fitzhugh Lee Sweatman, Sr. and Eulalie Knight Sweatman. She was a secretary and bookkeeper. She was a 1961 graduate of St. George High School and a member of St. George Church of Christ. She was predeceased by siblings:

Mary Taylor, Ruth Geddings, Edna Judy, Mildred Utsey, Francis (Buster) Sweatman, Bobby Sweatman and Fitzhugh L. Sweatman, Jr.

Surviving are sisters; Evelyn (Carlisle) Avant, St. George, Margaret (Charles) Spell, Smoaks; sisters-in-law; Gladys Sweatman and Martha Sweatman and special friends, Barbara (Eugene) Lawley and Sandra Linder of St. George and a number of Nieces and Nephews, and her special cat “Charlie”.
