Aubrey Dale Mitchum

Aubrey Dale “Pops” Mitchum, 62, husband of Joybeth Mitchum, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Trident Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Kevin Hinton officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. George Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will Anthony Brown, Hunter Kennedy, Chase Kennedy, Robert Godley, Ras Slater and Donnie Brown.  Visitation will be an hour before the service. 

Aubrey was born on July 17, 1956 in Moncks Corner, a son of the late Alfred and Laura Mills Mitchum.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shrimping and music.  He was predeceased by siblings, Alfred Mitchum, Ruth Tanner and Joe Mitchum. 

Surviving is his wife, Joybeth Mitchum; sons, Beau (Tanya) Kennedy, Allen (Kristina) Mitchum, all of St. George and Josh (Heidi) Mitchum, Dorchester; grandchildren, Hunter, Chase and Miley Kennedy, Tenley Mitchum, Peyton and Brillyn Mitchum; a brother, Michael Mitchum, Goose Creek; sisters, Doris (Jimmy) Godley, Ann (Cleve) Mize and Debbie (Don) Brown, Summerville.
