Thelma Ruth Knight

Thelma Ruth Knight, of Eutawville, passed away Saturday April 14, 2018 at the home of her son in Cottageville.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Dean Knight officiating.  Burial will follow in the Harleyville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home.

Thelma was born on November 15, 1929 in Harleyville, a daughter of late Arlee and Maude Weathers Knight. She graduated Harleyville High School and was the owner of Thelma’s Thrift Store.  She was predeceased by siblings; Virginia K. Way, William Knight, Vickie K. Roberson, Jerome Knight and a granddaughter, Julanne Blewer Pate.

Surviving are four sons; Terry (Cheryl) Blewer, Michael (Gwen) Blewer, Robert Blewer and Richard (Annette) Brown; grandchildren, Christina (Travis) Hallman, Terry Lee Blewer and Belinda Clark; a number of great-grandchildren; brothers, James Knight and Wallace (Dicksie) Knight, Harleyville; sisters; Mary K. Day, Frances K. Ardis, Catherine K. Reeves and Marie K. Weathers, and Dot K. Smith.
