Sandra Kay Pennington

Sandra Kay Pennington, 57, of Dorchester, entered into eternal rest at Trident hospital on Sunday, April 1, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Zion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jason Marchant, Wesley Stephens, Jade Hill, Lee Hill, Daniel Dantzler, Nick Dantzler, Allen Stephens and William All.  Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.

Sandra was born on July 27, 1960 in Summerville, a daughter of Leo W. Hill, Sr. and the late Mary Pearline Mizell Hill.  She attended Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 2.  She was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, David Pennington, 8 years prior on the same day & two brothers, Allen & Ricky Hill.

Surviving is her son Taylor D. Pennington, Dorchester; daughter Lisa (Devin) Byrd grandchildren, Harley and Kenly Waggoner, Caleb Byrd all of Moncks Corner, Niko Byrd, Florida & is expecting a granddaughter in June. She has three brothers Woody Hill & Lester (Mandy) Hill both of Givhans & Randy (Susan) Hill of Florida, five sisters Gloria (Harry) Alexander,Givhans, Claudia Stroble (Chris), John’s Island, Lynn (Tony) Hill, Summerville, Carol (Freddy) All, Dorchester & Judy (Gene) Rudd, Givhans.
