Marjorie Anne Infinger, born October 10, 1926, to James Chester and Ida Pierce Yates in McArthur, Ohio. Formerly married to Eugene C. Seasly then Farrell L. Landon, both deceased. On November 22, 1986 she married Ellison Guy Infinger at Goose Creek United Methodist Church.
She graduated from Attica High School, Attica, Ohio, in May 1944 and was accepted immediately into USAF Civil Service, served at Shelby USAF, Shelby Ohio and Brookley Field Mobile, Alabama from May 1944-June 1963. She was a member of the initial Provision Team for building B52’s, working at Boeing Aircraft, Seattle Washington. At the time, she declined geographical transfer and left the service she was Section Requirements and Distribution offices GS12 responsible for 79 USAF employees and 110,000 aircraft parts for budget and supply. In 1965, she began work with Huber Corp., Marion Ohio, builder of road equipment. In March 1997, she was moved by parent Conglomerate Figgie International with company as cost manager to Goose Creek, SC. She was Director of Music at Goose Creek UMC for 9 years. Since her retirement, she was the organist and pianist for Indian Field United Methodist Church where she was a member in the Chancel Choir, Good Cheery Sunday School Class, Country Living Senior Group and Administrative Board. She will be long remembered for her music, she composed several pieces used mostly for weddings, and helped provide music at Grover UMC, Duncan Chapel UMC, and Limestone Baptist Church plus accompanied her choir at Indian Field Campground.
Surviving is her son, Timothy L. (Sharon) Landon, Lakeview, Ohio.
