John Mark Walters

John Mark Walters, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday at Indian Field United Methodist Church with the Reverend John Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be an hour before the service.  Family will receive friends Thursday at his father’s home, Cicero Walters, 10152 Charleston Highway, St. George after 5:00 PM.

John was born on December 23, 1963 in Orangeburg, a son of John Cicero Walters and the late Betty Joann Peters Walters. He was a graduate of Harleyville-Ridgeville High School, a member of Indian Field United Methodist Church and loved the outdoors.  He was a former planer mill supervisor at Infinger Lumber Company and Jacobs Engineering Modular Construction in Modular Assembly.  He enjoyed keeping his truck cleaned and doing yard work.  He was very handy and could fix anything you needed fixed.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchild Bella. 

Surviving is his son, Jonathan Dustin (Tara) Walters; granddaughter, Isabella Lyn Walters; his father, John Cicero Walters; a brother, Christopher David (Tracey) Walters; a sister, Tammy (James) Fralix; and his niece, Haven Walters and nephews, Eric Fralix and Slade Walters.
