Hilda Mae Connelley

Hilda Mae Connelley, 78 wife of Farrell Connelley of 1568 Seven Mile Road, Harleyville entered in to eternal rest on Monday May 29, 2017 at Trident Medical Center after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, June 1, 2017 in the Indian Field United Methodist Church with Rev. Rawls Mitchell and Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday evening at Bryant Funeral Home, St. George.

 Hilda was born on January 23, 1939 in Harleyville a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Claudia M.  Mellard. She was a graduate of Harleyville High School and former secretary for Holly Hill Heating and Air. She was predeceased by sibling: Robert Louis Mellard, Dick Mellard, Grady Lee Mellard, Elma Martin, Edna Mellard, Opal Player, Julia Infinger, Hazel Johnson, and Thelma Pulaski.

Surviving is her husband, Lex Farrell Connelley, Harleyville, 2 daughters, Delores B. Connelley, St. George and Sheila Connelley McAlhany, Sylvania, GA: grandchildren; Cory (Haley) McAlhany, Harleyville and Lex Ann McAlhany, Sylvania, GA; Great-grands, Candice Thomas, Casey Thomas and Presley Peagler; Brother and sisters in laws, Janie Bell Mellard, St. George, Bryan and Mary Connelley, Bolentown.
