Eunice McAlhany Deitrick

Eunice “Sis” McAlhany Deitrick, widow of Robert H. “Bob” Deitrick, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 28, 2017 at White Oak Manor of Newberry.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery Annex, Reevesville. Visitation will be an hour before the service. 

Eunice was born on December 18, 1928 in Branchville, a daughter of the late Charlie Quince and Mae Belle Hartzog McAlhany.  She worked for many years at the St. George Sewing Room and was a breast cancer survivor.  She was predeceased by siblings, Herbert Lee McAlhany, Annie Belle McAlhany and Horace Crady McAlhany

Surviving is her son, Charles Robert (Beverly) Deitrick, Sr.; a daughter, Cynthia M. Deitrick Simmons, grandchildren, Charles Robert Deitrick, Jr., Jennifer Withrell, Cissy Barbero and Amanda Wiles; and 12 great-grandchildren including Tyson Deitrick and Jazmine Stevens; and, a brother, John Allen (Martha Ann) McAlhany.
